The Curry Club has proved to be very popular and now has around 60 members.
There are no fixed dates for meetings but the group meets roughly once a month at different members houses where the host prepares a main dish and the guests provide accompaniments. Because of the restrictions on space, not all of the members can attend every "home supper" so the recipes for the various dishes are circulated to all of the club members after each meeting.
The Club has now started arranging visits to local Indian restaurants where greater numbers can be accommodated. The latest being held at the Rani Palace in Jávea where 29 Club members enjoyed a social evening enhanced with some fine Indian cuisine.
The latest "home supper" was held at Hillary and David Grove's house on 4th May. A few pictures from this evening are in the first photos gallery below.
To extend our activities, and make them more interesting and informative, we are making arrangements for some specialist speakers on the subject of Indian cooking.
