All walks will meet at 9.30am in the Benitachell Tourist Office car park (opposite Mas y Mas). Walkers will then travel (in their cars or car sharing) to the start point for the walk. This can involve a drive of anything between 10 minutes to an hour, depending on the location of the walk.
The Mountain Walk Schedule will be updated when it is necessary to alter a walk, so please check it before each walk for the latest details. However, if weather conditions merit it, the leader and the group assembled at the Meeting Venue may decide to alter the walk.
After about 2 hrs into the walk, at a suitable location, the group will stop for 20 minutes for a lunch break. So bring something for lunch (e.g. sandwiches!).
All Jávea U3A members are welcome but all walkers participate at their own risk. It is your responsibility to look at the walk characteristics in the Walk Schedule and ensure that you are capable of doing the walk.
No registration is required, just turn up at the meeting point in good time for the walk. Bring ample water, refreshments (lunch), appropriate clothing and comfortable walking shoes/boots.
