May Ball 2012
The Jávea U3A will hold a May Ball on 18th May 2012 at El Canor, outside Teulada. Last year's event at the same place was very successful. For the latest details see the Special Events page.
Tea Dance
There will be a Tea Dance at the Social Centre in March. For more details see the Special Events page.
Spanish Beginners Class Starts January 16th
Could those members who applied to join the Spanish for Beginners Class starting in January please re-apply to Heidi as soon as possible as due to technical reasons she no longer has contact details. NEW MEMBERS WELCOME. Please email beginners.spanish@u3ajavea.org.
Fashion Show and Cancer Care Stall
Our chosen charity for 2012 – Cancer Care Javea - are holding a Fashion Show and a stall at the Women in Business Club’s event at the Parador Hotel on Sunday 11th March and would love to see U3A members at the event.

Calpe 10th Anniversary Invitation
Calpe U3A are holding their 10th Anniversary Gala on Wednesday 7th March and have invited Jávea U3A members to attend. If you would like to attend the Gala click for full details.
Membership Renewals
Have you renewed your membership? If not, please come to the Parador on Wednesday 29 February between 9.45 - 10.45 to renew and collect your new Membership Card.
Beware of online Scams!
The Neighbourhood Watch organisation have informed us that there has recently been a big increase in internet and online scams, with people attempting to get access to email, mobile phones, computer records and bank account details and warning people to be wary.

Badminton and Table Tennis Groups

Vacancy for Membership Secretary - message from Wilma
I will be standing down at the AGM in March having completed 3 years as Membership Secretary. We are now looking for someone to come forward for this position. If you have a couple of hours a week to spare, that is all that is required! I find the job very rewarding and have enjoyed my time as Membership Secretary.
